For Kevin's second record on Dead Oceans the focus was on geography, centering around the 3 places Kevin called home. NYC, LA and Kansas City. When discussing the visual feel of the LP references to the New York scene around punk, Patti Smith, Richard Hell and of course the Ramones were all touched on.
