For the third Vault package we released a live recording of The Dead Weather's 'Sea of Cowards'. To promote the release of the regular LP The record was live streamed playing continuously on a turntable in the Third Man offices for 24 hours. This playback lead up to a midnight timed live performance of the LP from the Third Man Blue Room that was both live streamed and recorded direct to tape. The release came with a companion 7" along with DVD of the performance. All printed on mirror board, utilizing the work of Third Man resident photographer, Jo McCaughey. The joy of the third man experience was that given the small size of the label at it's start roles and responsibilities were fluid. Often the design role developed in to production and planning for larger events that we put on.
